Sponsored African conservation experience

African Conservation Experience is offering a special sponsorship scheme for its volunteer conservation projects in late 2008.
For projects between October 21st and December 9th 2009, a limited number of volunteers will be sponsored to the value of 25 per cent of the usual fee.
This means volunteers will only have to raise part of the funds they would normally need to take part in the Tuli conservation project.
This project involves work on the restoration and preservation of trans-frontier areas near the Limpopo River as well helping to track and monitor elephants, leopard, baboon and other game.
"We like the idea of sponsoring students who might otherwise be unable to afford to join projects like ours, and of course we hope they will come home and tell all their friends how great it was," explained Rob Harris, founder of African Conservation Experience.
The cost for volunteers will be £3,007 for an eight-week project, £2,317 for a four-week project, or £1,537 for a two-week project. This includes flights, accommodation, meals and all project-related costs.
