Flight options to Cape Verde and Gambia from London are being increased by operator Teleticket.

From July 10th 2007 Teleticket will offer a new route to Sal Rei, Boa Vista, Cape Verde departing every Tuesday from London Gatwick.

Boa Vista, which means good view in Portuguese, is the most eastern island in the Cape Verde archipelago and is known for marine turtles, sand dunes, traditional music, and its ultramarathon event, the travel company said.

Prices for the Cape Verde flights start from £299.

The flights specialist has also announced a new route to Banjul, the capital of Gambia, also from London Gatwick.

Located where the Gambia River enters the Atlantic Ocean, the city offers a uniquely African experience with vibrant markets, many national parks and nature reserves within reach, Teleticket explained.
