Switzerland: 10-day Alpine ski break

Monday, 01 Dec 2008 00:00
Life in the Swiss Alps
Travel by narrow-gauge rail to Chur, where the scenery becomes grander and beautifully imposing as you delve deep into this ten-day 'Snow on the Alps' tour.

Spirals and hairpins provide panoramic splendour at the Bernina Pass (7,000ft), before descending to Tirano in Northern Italy. Then, using an unlimited Swiss Rail Pass, travel at your own discretion, with the resorts of St. Moritz and Klosters close by, before taking dinner in a private carriage along the Schanfigger valley to Arosa.

Finally, sample some city action in Zurich, before reaching Bern - the gateway to Geneva and Lucerne. Prices start from £1,299 per person including standard rail travel, nine nights' accommodation with some meals, first class Swiss Pass and tour leader.

A £45 per person reduction applies to this price for two adults travelling together at all times. Check out Fest Travel for more information.
