Caribbean: Hotel from £30 per room per night

Enjoy a Caribbean holiday on the small island of St Vincent and the Grenadines from only $55 (£27.50) per room per night at the family-run Frangipani Hotel Bequia. This hundred-year-old hotel is set in Admiralty Bay and has a fabulous open-air waterfront cocktail bar.

Rates for a standard double room during the summer season (April 15th to December 14th) are $55, plus a ten per cent service charge. A garden double room costs $110 (£55), a deluxe hillside room costs $140 and an air con deluxe room costs $165.

During the winter months (December 15th to April 14th) standard doubles cost $75 (£38), rising to $250 (£125) for an air con deluxe.
