Sorry Londoners but it's all happening in the north of the United Kingdom this weekend with food and music festivals popping up all over the place.
Here's travelbite.co.uk's pick of what's on this weekend, July 3rd and 4th around the United Kingdom:
Durham International Festival, County Durham
The historic cobbled city streets and charming market towns of Durham will be transformed into outdoor concert halls for the next few weeks as the fourth annual BRASS: Durham International Festival gets underway from July 3rd to 18th.
Musicians from over 20 countries will be gigging and celebrating every style of Brass playing imaginable. Concerts are in the streets and at major venues throughout County Durham in what is one of Britain's biggest brass music festivals.
Enjoy music as stylistically diverse as funk, reggae, ska and tango, alongside traditional brass bands celebrating North East England's coal mining past.
Burry Port Maritime Carnival, Carmarthenshire
Take all the family along for a day of nautical capers at the Burry Port Maritime Carnival in Carmarthenshire on Saturday July 3rd.
A nostalgic extravaganza, harking back to the carnivals and fairs of yesteryear but with a 21st century twist - all in the stunning setting of Carmarthen Bay. Drive yourself giddy on the fun fair rides, marvel at the 3sixty mountain bike display team as they show of their skills. There'll be dancing and live music throughout the day.
This is a free event at Marina Fields in Burry Port and you can call 01269 590258 for more information.
Leeds Loves Food festival
Those with a passion for food should plan a weekend break to Leeds to experience the 'Leeds Loves Food'
festival - a four day annual culinary extravaganza which runs throughout the city from Thursday July 1st to Sunday July 4th.
There will be a jam-packed programme of cookery masterclasses, food sampling, celebrity chef demonstrations, competitions and special offers and promotions.
Highlights will include the afternoon tea party with Anthony's Restaurant and Harvey Nichols in The Victoria Quarter, or the Leeds Farmers Market at Leeds Kirkgate outdoor market.
Open Air Museum 40th Anniversary, County Durham
Beamish: The Living Museum of the North, one of north-east England's flagship visitor attractions, is 40 this year and celebrating with a weekend of fun, including a delicious birthday cup cake for every visitor.
Each day at noon there'll be a parade of Beamish folk and vehicles around the site; a horse drawn carriage will lead a Suffragette march including a Model T Ford and a steam roller.
Beamish is open from 10am to 5pm on both 3rd and 4th July. A brass band will play in the Town park on Sunday afternoon and there'll be an anniversary service in the pit village Methodist chapel each day. There are family activities to enjoy too - make a period birthday card and have a go at identifying the mystery objects in the village school.
Chatsworth Food & Drink Fair, Derbyshire
The Chatsworth Food and Drink Fair is on this weekend between the house and stables on Lodge Hill.
Visitors can wander around 50 stalls featuring many artisan producers from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire as well as gourmet treats from further afield.
Admission is free and foodie treats in store for visitors at the weekend to take home include fruit and savoury pies; farmhouse toffee and fudge; handmade speciality chilli jams; gourmet liquorice; gift boxes and hampers filled with handmade chocolate treats; chutneys and relishes and handmade farmhouse cheeses.
Brinkburn Music Festival, Northumberland
Brinkburn Music Festival is a celebration of classical music at Brinkburn Priory in the heart of Northumberland and welcomes festival goers from across the UK, Europe and beyond.
The festival takes place over two weekends - this year July 2nd to 4th and July 9th to 11th. So there's plenty of time in between to explore the beauty and history of Northumberland.
This is a friendly and welcoming festival that is small enough to care but big enough to attract internationally acclaimed musicians to our stage.
Border Green Festival, Berwick Upon Tweed
Also in Northumberland, the Border Green Festival is about exploring and celebrating all that makes modern life sustainable with live music, food, exhibits, workshops and activities, arts and crafts.
The sixth annual Border Green Festival will take place on Sunday 4th July at Five Arches Playing Fields, Tweedmouth, Berwick upon Tweed.
This year's theme will be 'Celebrating Sustainable Communities' and there will be live music, workshops and exhibitors on how to live a little bit greener.
