A spectacular fireworks display set against the unmistakable backdrop of Norwich Castle will form the climax of the event.
Llandelio Fawr Festival of Music and flowers, Carmarthenshire
This beautiful summer music festival in south-west Wales revels in its idyllic hill-top setting in the Towy Valley, Carmarthenshire, from July 10th to 18th.
The Llandelio Fawr Festival of Music and Flowers is now in its 10th year and looks forward to performances from the likes of The Swingle Singers, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Sinatra's trumpeter Guy Barker.

Margate Masters Volleyball, Kent
Forget the World Cup, grab your sun cream and stake a front row seat at the Margate Masters beach volleyball tournament this weekend (July 10th and 11th). The Kent seaside town is gearing up for the return of the Volleyball England Beach Tour which brings international teams and leading UK players to Margate's Main Sands.
Spectators can watch for free and last year more than 5,000 people headed to the beach to enjoy the weekend's thrills and spills.
Play takes place on both days from 09:00 to 17:00, with the finals starting at 13.30 on the Sunday. The event features a host of entertainment including music and dance demonstrations. There will also be a local standard knockout tournament on the Sunday and activities for all the family.
ARTSIDE, Southend-on-Sea
ARTSIDE is the first edition of an annual project set to transform the Southend-on-Sea town centre into a pulsating art platform of exhibitions, film screenings, interactive projects, and interventions.
In and around the Southend-on-Sea High Street from 10th to 23rd July 2010, visitors can explore the theme of "wish you were here" ... and the curators have invited artists to re-think the traditional concepts of the British holiday town, and to dispel the myth of the obvious seaside imagery, by showing an alternative side to this genre.
A variety of media will be on show, including painting, photography, installation, sculpture, performance and film. The aim of ARTSIDE is to provoke thought and inspire a new generation to think about how to create a modern-day poster or postcard image of Southend-on-Sea.
