The islands of Hawaii are world renowned for their surfing and relaxed culture, a world away from mainland America - but they are also home to a clutch of fabulous hotels to delight the senses.
The American state of Hawaii is composed of virtually the entire volcanic Hawaiian Island archipelago, which is made up of hundreds of islands spread over 1,500 miles through the central Pacific Ocean.
At the south-eastern end of the chain are a cluster of larger islands - Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawai'i - which host the majority of the main tourist attractions.

With its striking décor and friendly staff, the hotel is a must for visitors who are looking to have a break. Situated half a block away from the world famous Waikiki beach, the hotel is also in an ideal place to experience the hubbub of Honolulu.
For a more traditionally Hawaiian feel, visitors are advised to head to the Kalaekilohana Hotel on Hawaii's Big Island, where they will find one of the only bed and breakfast locations which remains Hawaiian owned.
