Video: Lily Allen on Neighbours

Britain’s very own Lily Allen will be making a cameo appearance on Neighbours today on Tuesday November 10th, following in the footsteps of Aussie talent such as Kylie, Jason and Bouncer the dog.

A huge fan of Neighbours, apparently Lily wasted no time in accepting the offer to appear on the show where she will play herself in a scene alongside Matt Werkmeister.

Before the scenes were shot Werkmeister admitted that he is a huge Allen fan:

“I’m freaking out, I’ll be starstruck for sure but will try my hardest to stay professional. I definitely want her autograph but will probably be too scared, so I’ll ask someone to get it for me.”

The scenes were filmed in June while Lily was touring Australia. She is interviewed on the ‘PirateNet’ radio station before singing 22, taken from her latest album It’s Not Me It’s You.

This video offers an idea of what you can expect to see when you go on the famous ‘Neighbours Tour’ in the Australian city of Melbourne – something all Ramsay Street devotees have to experience.
