And for those looking to turn a meal into a romantic adventure, Visit Scotland has compiled the five best picnic locations in Scotland:
Queen Elizabeth Forest ParkLocated on the edge of the Highlands and overlooking the Forth Valley, the park is split into four areas: East Loch Lomond Woodland, Strathyre Forest, Achray Forest and Lord Ard Forest. The picnic area boasts fantastic views.

A Midsummer Night's Dream. Performed by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company, the show is in Glasgow until July 23rd, but is also visiting Shieldhill Castle, Biggar, Lanarkshire on July 28th, Raemoir House Hotel, Banchory, Aberdeenshire, on July 29th and Cawdor Castle, Nairn, Inverness-shire on July 30th.
