Suzi Quatro is providing entertainment on some of the two-night short breaks
We Do Weekends is launching two-night short breaks in response to Britain's long hours culture.

Many people cannot afford to take time off work for a traditional three-night short break over a long weekend.

A recent survey by the entertainment short breaks' provider reveals that many customers would prefer to take a two-night break.

With busy workers in mind, it is adding a series of two-night weekend breaks to its existing standard three-night breaks.

We Do Weekends launched last autumn to provide a new concept in entertainment short breaks.

Targeting couples and groups in their 30s, 40s and 50s, the breaks involve a stay at some of the UK's most impressive Grade 1 and 2 listed hotels, with entertainment in 500 seat 'comedy club' style auditoriums thrown in.

Among the two-night breaks on offer is a stay at Thoresby Hall Hotel, Nottinghamshire, in May with entertainment provided by Carol Decker & Kenny Thomas; and a break at Bodelwyddan Castle, North Wales, in June with entertainment provided by Suzi Quatro.

The Carol Decker & Kenny Thomas break starts from £219 per person, while the Suzi Quatro break starts from £239. Prices for three-night entertainment short breaks start from £269 per person.
