A walking holiday around Lands End features in Countrywide's new brochure
A walking holiday around Lands End is one of the new additions to Countrywide Holidays' 2006 brochure.
The five-night break, staying in Penzance, includes four days of walking through Porthcurno, Cape Cornwall, Gunard's Head and St Ives.
Abandoned and restored mine works, remote lighthouses, old fishing villages and tiny coves are among the sights along the path walkers will follow.
It is one of several new additions to Countrywide's walking holidays, along with walks in areas as diverse as London and Jersey.
A more established walking holiday offered by Countrywide is the Whitby to North York Moors National Park route on England's north-east coast.
This starts at the busy fishing port of Whitby and takes in the village of Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, as well as moving inland to explore the national park.
Meanwhile, Giant's Causeway is the focal point for a seven-night break to Northern Ireland. The route of the walk takes in the bizarre natural rock formation and four of the Nine Glens - Glenariff, Glen Ballyemon, Glenann and Glendun.
