Iguazu Falls, Argentina: The Prince's Trust is offering horse-trekking in Argentina
Horse trekking in the Andes, climbing mountains in Scandinavia and cycling the route of the Great Wall of China are just some of the charity holidays on offer from the Prince's Trust.
The youth charity, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, has launched a range of fundraising holidays for members of the public who want charity fundraising to be that little bit more demanding.
Challenge Event fundraisers have already completed a 91 km bike ride and a 42 km run in the Sahara Desert, and the next challenge is a race across central America.
Setting off in March, teams of fundraisers will race each other from coast to coast in Costa Rica, crossing mountain ranges, rivers and dense jungle, using only a mountain bike, small kayak, river raft and their feet.
Next up is the Scandinavian three peaks challenge in September, where fundraisers will climb three peaks in Norway, Sweden and Finland in just four days.
In November, the Prince's Trust is organising the Great Wall of China cycle challenge, providing fundraisers with an opportunity to cycle through 400 km of rural China in ten days.
The last challenge in 2006 sets off in December for the Andes. Trekkers will start in Argentina and work their way across South America on horseback to Chile.
Events planned for 2007 include a mountain climb in Kenya, climbing three volcanoes in Italy, climbing Greece's highest mountain, Mount Olympus, and undertaking a number of challenges in the Namibian desert.
