Tupac: waxwork set to entertain visitors to Las Vegas
The late rap star Tupac Shakur is set to entertain visitors to Las Vegas, nearly ten years after his death.
Tupac, who was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting in 1996, will be immortalised by Madame Tussauds Las Vegas for its new 'on stage' attraction.
The rapper, whose hits included
Changes, will be modelled in his iconic pose, shirtless, sporting a bandana and displaying his tattoos.
He will join other stars from the music world immortalised as waxworks at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, including Prince, Bono, Mick Jagger, Elton John, James Brown, Little Richard, Billy Idol and Elvis.
"We have received more requests from the public to immortalise Tupac than any other rap star," said Adrian Jones, general manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.
"It is fitting that he will be the central figure in our new 'on stage' attraction, which will offer the public a new high-tech system for enjoying the music of all the stars in the attraction."
