Miami Beach's famous Ocean Drive
If you are tempted by the big city lifestyle, sandy beaches and tropical feel of Miami after seeing the new
Miami Vice movie, then a late deal might be just the thing.
An all year round holiday destination, Miami is an exotic mix of Latin cultures, superb architecture and great family attractions such as the Seaquarium, Gator Park and Metrozoo.
The city also has a lively nightlife, as well as spacious malls and also places such as the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, which has a wide range of unique shops and eateries – from local fashion designers to a specialist wine store that doubles up as a cafe.
For the authentic
Miami Vice experience, South Beach, known to locals as SoBe, is the place to go. Not just the filming location for the new movie, it has lots of Miami's famous art deco architecture, grand homes, night clubs, excellent restaurants and golden beaches.
Virgin Holidays currently have a series of late deals that include a non-stop flight to Miami international airport from London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic, which takes around ten hours.
