Disneyland, California: good destination for a family day out
A visit to the US would not be complete without a trip to one of its many spectacular theme parks.
And it seems you need to look no further than Disney for a fun-filled day out.
Disney theme parks recently took six places in the top ten US theme parks according to a poll by travel website Travelers Advantage, including all of the top five.
The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is America's number one theme park, according to the poll.
Universal Studios in Orlando is the most popular non-Disney theme park, coming in at number six.
"Some of the best summertime memories are created by escaping to the magic of the great US theme and amusement parks," said Julia Ryan of Travelers Advantage.
