Dubrovnik, Croatia: is only a day's drive from Rijeka
Easyjet is launching cheap flights to Morocco, Turkey and Croatia as it expands beyond its traditional markets in the EU.
From the summer, the low-fares airline will inaugurate new routes to the Moroccan city of Marrakech, Turkey's largest city Istanbul, and Croatia's third largest city Rijeka.
Easyjet is the first low fares airline to start services from London to Turkey and Morocco, and prices start at £30.99 for a one-way fare.
In Croatia, Easyjet follows Polish airline Wizz, which recently announced cheap flights to the capital of Zagreb. Fares on Easyjet's flights to Rijeka will start from £25.99.
Easyjet chief executive Andrew Harrison said: "This is probably our most significant expansion since the start of our new routes to Central and Eastern Europe in May 2004."
The London Luton to Istanbul route will be the first to launch on June 29th, with daily flights.
A day later, Easyjet will fly from London Luton to Rijeka for the first time, with four flights a week on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays.
Flights from London Gatwick to Marrakech, which are also daily, will start on July 4th.
Seats on the new routes will be on sale on
www.easyjet.com from Friday March 3rd.
