Specialist tour operator Kirker Holidays has added Sardinia to its list of holidays in Italy for the first-time.

Kirker Holidays' 2006 Italy brochure includes four hotels on the island of Sardinia's Costa Smeralda.

The Romazzino, the Pitrizza and the Cala di Volpe hotels are all five-star while the four-star Cervo hotel is located among the boutiques of the town of Porto Cervo.

Prices for a luxury four-night break on the island of Sardinia start at £1,222

Holidays to the islands of Capri, Ischia and Sicily also feature in Kirker's 2006 brochure, along with mainland coastal destinations on the Ligurian Riviera and Amalfi Coast.

The company specialises in booking tickets for music events for a huge range of operas and concerts, and also has an extensive concierge service that extends to booking private jets and personal guided tours.

For those who prefer inland Italy, Kirker also has an extensive range of breaks to lakes Como, Garda, Iseo and Maggiore, and cities including Florence, Naples and Rome.

A three-night break to Rome with Kirker Holidays starts at £411 per person, including hotel accommodation, transfers and flights.
