If you are looking for a self-catering cottage holiday, then there are some great deals to be had before the summer is out.
There are six cottages in southern Brittany with swimming pools, all of which are available at the special rate of two weeks for the price of one this September.
If you want to stay longer, they also have 30 per cent off remaining peak weeks.
The group of six restored cottages have original features and exposed beams and make an ideal place for a family holiday.
They come fully furnished with well equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, private terraces with garden furniture and a barbeque. The swimming pools are large and there are also badminton, boule, and short tennis court facilities as well as a large garden.
The cottages have between one and three bedrooms each, and some of the single bedroom properties can be combined to make a two bedroom house.
Situated in the peaceful rural village of Kermaux, south of Pontivy, the cottages are in an ideal position for exploring much of Brittany.
Three miles away is Plumeliau, offering supermarkets, bakers, amenities and sports facilities, including go-karting.
The larger market towns of Pontivy, Baud and Locminé are within 15-20 minutes drive and offer a comprehensive range of services, bars, restaurants, weekly markets and tourist activity.
Forty minutes easy drive will get you to the Gulf of Morbihan and superb beaches.
Interesting areas surround the properties, where there is a wealth of natural and archaeological history.
There are also river excursions, swimming, fishing, canoeing, good cycling and walking routes, and bikes for hire locally.
