The ski resorts of Bell Plagne, Val d'Isere and Vars are among those to feature in Brittany Ferries' new series of self-drive skiing holidays.
In all eight ski resorts in the French Alps are featured among the selection of holidays, which have just been added to the company's website.
Prices start at just £119 per person for a week-long stay in self-catering apartments, including the ferry crossing.
The advantage of taking a car on a ski holiday is that all the extra gear can be piled in at no extra cost.
Other resorts to feature are Avoriaz, for a village atmosphere with a good snow record, Les Coche, which is situated in the Grand Plagne skiing area, and Valmeinier, a friendly resort with spectacular scenery.
Valmoral, which lies on the slopes of Cheval Noir, and Val Thorens complete the line up of available resorts.
Brittany Ferries sails from Portsmouth to Caen in the north of France, and from there a drive to Val d'Isere will take about ten hours.
