P&O launches details of 2007 cruise holidays

Lithuania's Klaipeda, Vaasa in Finland and Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands are among P&O's new cruise holiday destinations.

Savannah in the United States and Valencia, Spain, also feature on P&O's cruise holiday itineraries for the first time.

Savannah, Georgia, features in a new 29-night American Adventure cruise on board Artemis, which also makes stops at Orlando, Charleston, Baltimore, New York and Newport.

An 18-night Arctic Explorer, also on board Artemis, travelling to Ireland, Greenland and Lapland is another new itinerary, as is the 12-night Winter Wonderland Christmas Markets cruise to Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Hamburg and Bruges.

Those looking for a short cruise holiday may be interested in the two-night Weekender party cruise on board Oceana, which travels to Bruges in Belgium.

The new itineraries are detailed in a preview brochure for 2007, which will be available from the beginning of April.

P&O's Philip Price said that by releasing details of its cruise holidays early, the company could reward its frequent passengers.

"There is always huge anticipation around the annual release of our cruise programme. Publishing a preview brochure means we can get the new cruise itineraries to market earlier and at the same time reward our frequent and past passengers with the best value, early booking discounts."

P&O's cruise holidays will go on sale from April 4th, and passengers will have until June, when the first edition full brochure is launched, to take advantage of the discounted rates.

Mr Price added: "We know past passengers require less product information as they are familiar with our ships. They know which experience they are looking for, on which ship they want to sail and will have a general idea of where they want to go on their next cruise."
