First Choice holidays for 2007

Long-haul flights from Bristol airport, new direct flights to the Dominican Republic and a new brand of super-chic accommodation are among the features of First Choice's offering for summer 2007.

The tour operator has also launched a range of early booking offers, including 1000's of free child places and savings of up to £100 per adult.

From Bristol, First Choice is launching three new routes including weekly flights to Florida and fortnightly flights to Varadero in Cuba and to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.

Staying with the Dominican Republic, First Choice will be the first UK operator to fly direct to Samana in the north-east of the country.

Holidays to Samana, which has excellent beaches and whale watching opportunities in the winter, start at £875 per person for 14 nights, with fortnightly flights from Gatwick and Manchester.

Just a ten minute boat ride from Samana Town is Cayo Levantado, often referred to as 'Bacardi Island' after it was the set for Bacardi rum commercials. Prices for a 14-night all inclusive stay at the Gran Bahia Principe Levantado hotel start from £1,059.

If it is cool, contemporary hotel accommodation you are after, then you could be interested in First Choice's Chic and Unique range.

Stylish architecture and fashionable interiors are features of the 17 properties, aimed at adults travelling without kids, in countries such as Italy, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Turkey and Morocco.

A half-board stay at the Chic and Unique Bay Hotel and Suites on the Greek island of Zante starts at £305 per person for seven nights in a twin room.

First Choice's new programme of holidays went on sale last week, and there are a range of early booking offers to be taken advantage of.

As well as free child places, single parents can save up to £702 on a holiday to the Petra Mar Hotel in Crete.

Children up to 16 years of age can qualify for child prices at selected half board and all-inclusive properties, potentially saving a family of four up to £760.
