New Zealand's southern alps
If you're planning a trip to New Zealand in the near future, or even just want to view some pictures of one of the world's most picturesque countries, then look no further than newzealand.com.

The site has just been awarded a 'webby' - the internet's equivalent of the Oscars - for topping the tourism category.

It was one of a number of sites honoured in the travel and tourism categories in the 9th Annual Webby Awards.

Alongside newzealand.com in the tourism category, YellowstonePark.com picked up the People's Voice award - as voted for by internet users.

Elsewhere, private charter jet website flightmaker.com topped the travel category.

In the same category, travel guide publisher Lonely Planet picked up the people's voice award for its website lonelyplanet.com.
