It appears that 11 'B-list' celebrities and Carol Thatcher are having an influence on Britain's holiday habits.

Nearly half of UK travellers can do without creature comforts such as showers and deodorant, while just less than a third are happy to do without toilet paper, according to a survey by Norwich Union.
Many Brits would be prepared to follow in the celebs' footsteps by having a go at activities like rainforest walking, jungle camping, abseiling and skydiving.
And many also feel like Carol Thatcher, Jilly Goolden and Sheree Murphy that it is important to try local dishes on holiday – however bizarre.
Over a third of Brits would happily eat snake, a fifth would eat grasshoppers and 13 per cent would east Witchetty grubs.
Nearly half of Brits would eat kangaroo– though whether this extends to eating kangaroo penis as demonstrated by Jilly is surely questionable.
