Diving holiday specialists Regaldive have announced new destinations for their programme including new tours in South Africa, Oman and Indonesia.
The new programme also includes an expanded Red Sea itinerary, adding the new resort of Hamata, and two hotels in Marsa Alam.
The company's new South Africa 'dive safari' 13-night tour takes small groups of holidaymakers to sites along the east coast of South Africa, as well as some dive sites in Mozambique.
The tour also includes a visit to the Tala game reserve, Durban, and South Africa's biggest game reserve, Kruger National Park.
Alternatively, divers will be able to swap a dive in Mozambique for caged diving with Great White sharks in Cape Town.
The dive safari starts from £2,249 per person including guides, transport, all excursions and 17 boat dives.
The remote region of Irian Jaya in Indonesia is another new addition for 2006-07. The area has high concentrations of coral species and is offered as part of an itinerary where holidaymakers dive by day and stay on the boat overnight.
Oman, which is growing in popularity as a destination for diving holidays, also features in the new programme.
The resort of Musandam, which is located on a peninsula in northern Oman, has 21 dive sites within an hour's boat ride. Prices start from £729 per person for seven nights' bed and breakfast.
Diving holidays in the Red Sea are well established and Regaldive's new destinations to the region are focused on the southern part of the area.
The new resort of Hamata offers access to diving sites that had previously been out of reach by day boat. Prices start from £549 per person for seven nights' half-board accommodation.
Two new hotels in Marsa Alam have also been added for 2006-07, one of which has a diving lodge on the shore of Abu Dabab. From the lodge divers will get a chance to see the areas resident 'Sea Cow', or Dugong, an unusual marine mammal. Prices start from £439 per person for seven nights' half board.
