Vietnam entry requirements
You should arrange a visa before entering Vietnam, and ensure there is at least six months remaining on your passport.
Make sure you keep hold of the yellow portion of your immigration card which you receive on arrival, as you will need this to leave the country.

Travellers should ensure they are covered by comprehensive travel insurance, which should include the possibility of medical evacuation to another country better equipped to dealing with serious medical matters.
You should check for the risk of bird flu with the Foreign Office.
Take sensible precautions against mosquitoes because of the risk from dengue fever, malaria and Japanese encephalitis.
You should contact your GP before travelling to Vietnam to check for up-to-date inoculation information for the country.
