Thailand entry requirements
British nationals visiting Thailand as tourists for less than 30 days do not need a visa before arrival. An extension thereafter is required, and can be obtained from a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate, an immigration officer at a point of entry into Thailand or one of the immigration offices around the country.
You must have a passport valid for at least six months after the end of your stay.
Thailand health
Precautions against mosquitoes should be taken as there is a risk of contracting malaria and dengue fever.
Thailand has a significant level of HIV infection and AIDS.
Travellers should not go to Thailand without comprehensive travel and medical insurance.
