Mexico entry requirements
British nationals require a passport with at least six months left on it when entering Mexico. Once in Mexico, a tourist card should be obtained from Mexican consulates, Mexican international airports or border crossing points.

Some adventure activities such as caving may require a visa, if they involve scientific research. You should check with Mexican Consulate in London about whether a visa will be needed - www.mexicanconsulate.org.uk.

Mexico health
Travellers should not go to Mexico without comprehensive travel and medical insurance.

There is a reciprocal medical agreement between the UK and Mexico, which means British travellers can receive most treatments on the Mexicon Medicare scheme.
