Japan entry requirements
British nationals visiting Japan as tourists for less than 90 days do not need a visa.

If visiting Japan for reasons other than tourism, you should go to the Japanese embassy or consulate in the UK before you go. All visitors to Japan are required to enter with an onward or return ticket.

Japan health
Few visitors to Japan get serious illnesses or infections but you should seek medical advice from your GP about vaccinations before travelling.
