India entry requirements
British nationals must obtain a visa before arriving in India. If arriving on long-term multiple visas, you should register with the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Officer within two weeks of arrival.

India health
Visitors should ensure that immunisations against common infections are up to date before travelling. Travellers should take care with water and food hygiene.

Travellers should not go to India without comprehensive medical insurance as private medical treatment is very expensive.
