Iceland entry requirements – British nationals do not need a visa to visit Iceland, and because it is part of the European Economic Area, they are entitled to work and reside in Iceland.

Iceland health - Travellers should ensure they are covered by comprehensive travel insurance.

Travellers to Iceland should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), which does not replace travel insurance, but allows you to receive emergency treatment on the same terms as an Icelandic person. The EHIC can be obtained for free from the Post Office.
