Belgium entry requirements
British nationals in possession of a passport with at least six months until its expiry date do not need a visa to visit Belgium. Visitors planning to stay in Belgium for longer than three months, for work or otherwise, should apply to the local communal authorities for a residence permit.
Belgium health
Travellers should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), which does not replace travel insurance, but allows you to receive emergency treatment on the same terms as a Belgian person. The EHIC can be obtained for free from the Post Office.
