Like many of the Baltic states, Estonia is enjoying flux and change as it modernises while preserving its keen sense of history. One of the best examples of this can be found in the country's capital, Tallinn, which makes one feel like they are genuinely walking around Medieval Europe thanks to its immaculately preserved architecture, combined with a modern edge that has led it to being described as a suburb of the ultra-hip Helsinki, which sits just across the water in Finland.
