Advice on budget, affordable and luxury accommodation in Nuremberg.
Budget accommodation
For budget accommodation, Nuremberg Youth Hostel is well-located within easy reach of the city's key attractions. Impressively set within the castle, it has accommodation in two and six bedded rooms, along with internet access and TV.
Similarly located within the heart of medieval Nuremberg, Lette'm Sleep is a good base for sampling the city's nightlife, and also benefits from having no curfew. Coffee and tea are free, which is handy after a night out, as is internet access. Dorms range from three to 12 beds.
Affordable accommodation
For a hotel room in the centre of town, the Ibis Nuernberg Marientor is popular. Guests at this hotel – one of three Ibis hotels in the centre of Nuremberg – can expect clean rooms and efficient service.
Equally affordable but more authentic is the Hotel Deutscher Kaiser, which is housed in an ornate 19th century building. It situated right in the heart of Nuremberg, but still offers quiet and comfortable accommodation.
Luxury accommodation
Five star luxury in Nuremberg is available at Le Meridien Grand Hotel, which lies at the gateway to the old city. The hotel is welcoming and friendly, boasts a brasserie serving local dishes and an Art Deco-style bar.
Nuremberg's Hilton is a thoroughly modern hotel located out of town – 15 minutes from the centre - near the football stadium and Lorenz Forest. Its distance from the centre is a downside, but it has two bars and a restaurant of its own to keep you amused, along with plenty of fitness amenities.
