City guide

Vancouver

One of Vancouver's greatest strengths lies in its multi-faceted nature. It offers vibrancy and activities you would expect from a big city, from art to restaurants to bars and clubs, while retaining an emphasis on outdoor pursuits.

Everything is nearby, with some tremendous ski slopes in view from all over the city, as well as the beautiful quaysides of the Waterfront, where you can watch sea planes land and take off.

The social scene is hip, liberal and multi-cultural, making for an interesting night out, with colourful food, bohemian bars and unpretentious 'arty' types.
