Flights to Vancouver land at Vancouver International Airport.
You can catch the bus from the airport station bus terminal, which is based near the Delta Hotel. From there you can catch a number of buses to the city, including the 98B line and route 496 to downtown Vancouver. Route 100 also travels to the city.

Taxis are also available from outside the domestic and international terminals, and should cost around CA$23 to get to downtown Vancouver.
