Flights land in Miami at Miami International and Fort Lauderdale airports. Both are served by buses, though taxis are far more convenient.
The SuperShuttle is a cheap alternative to taxis, which offers a shared journey service, taking you door to door from the airport to your destination. To use the service, speak to one of their representatives outside the airport, who will be easily visible thanks to their gold shirts and blue jackets.
Expect to pay around $21 for a taxi, depending on your destination, and around $9 for the SuperShuttle, again, depending on your destination.
Trains can also be caught to Miami Beach, by catching a shuttle bus from the airport to the Tri-Rail station. Depending on your destination, a train from the airport should cost between $3.50 and $9.25.
