Getting around Hamburg
Tuesday, 22 Aug 2006 17:02
You can get around Hamburg by the city's light-railway service, the U-Bahn, and its overland trains, the S-Bahn.
There is another light-railway system operating in Hamburg, called the AKN, but this is only useful if you need to reach the city's satellite towns.
Otherwise, a frequent day and night bus network should get you where you need to go, though if you are feeling adventurous there are ferry services down the River Elbe as well.
