One of the first things that will strike you about Berlin is the vast amount of space there is in the city.

While maintaining the cosmopolitan and cultural feel of cities such as London, Berlin offers the visitor oodles of space to roam around and explore.

It contains several historically significant cultural monuments, such as the Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, as well as some of the best modern art in the world.

Though it has lost the likes of the legendary club Tresor, Berlin continues to have one of the most eclectic and hedonistic night-time scenes around, so is well worth a visit if a party is what you are after.
